Pony Division
The LCYO Pony Division provides an opportunity for 13 & 14-year-old boys to play competitive baseball in an atmosphere that fosters and supports the recreational attitude of the La Costa Youth Organization. Pony Division baseball is virtually real baseball. We use real baseball rules and equipment with only a few minor modifications. We have provided a lineup template for your use to insure that all players are getting the appropriate infield and outfield playing time according to LCYO rules. Please use this template. This division inter-leagues with other Pony leagues in the North County area, so players will get to play on different fields and there is a little bit of local travel involved. There are 5 leagues total that participate: La Costa, Carlsbad, Escondido, Fallbrook, and San Marcos.
BASES : 80 feet
PITCHING MOUND : 54 feet
Pony is the last division in our league so we start our waitlist early to be sure that we have enough players to fill the teams. If we do not have enough players to move the waitlisters to the division you will be refunded 100%.
