Bronco Division
The Bronco Division (ages 11 and 12) is perhaps the first level in the LCYO youth baseball system in which the players participate in “complete” baseball; including all of the traditional baseball rules, strategies, guidelines, etc. The Bronco Division follows PONY baseball rules which include base runner leadoffs at all bases, base stealing, pitching from the “stretch” position, balks, dropped third strike, the infield fly rule, and all other rules and procedures which normally govern the game of baseball. We have provided a lineup template for managers to use for game lineups. This will insure that teams are playing their players in the infield and outfield appropriately. Please use this template to make your team lineups.
BASES : 70 feet
PITCHING MOUND : 50 feet
Players Need:
- Baseball glove
- Cleats (non-metal)
- Batting Helmet
- USA Stamped Baseball Bat
- Cup
- Baseball pants - practice pants are important, game pants color will be decided once your player is assigned to a team
- Sliding Shorts (not required, just recommended)
