Welcome to LCYO!

La Costa Youth Organization (LCYO) www.lcyo.org is a not-for profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides baseball and softball programs for youths between 5 to 14 years old who live mainly in the Carlsbad, San Marcos, and Encinitas areas. Our baseball programs are associated with PONY Baseball. Our softball programs are associated with USA Softball.


Our Champions division is specifically designed for players of special needs the opportunity to participate in America's favorite pastime of baseball and softball. LCYO Champions is a co-ed division where boys and girls play together on the same teams. Each player is partnered with a champions buddy (Typically a player 12-16 years of age). We don’t charge any fees for this program and also provide uniforms, hats, trophies and more for the champions players and champions buddy. It is our goal to provide an environment that enhances the participants' self-esteem, physical mobility, and embodies the spirit of teamwork and community.


Enjoy one of the finest activities for boys and girls in the North County! The number one rule at LCYO is to "Have Fun!"

?⚾ 8U La Costa Blue All Stars — Pinto World Series Final Four!⚾? What an incredible run by our 8U La Costa Blue All Stars at the Pinto World Series! The team came out strong in pool play, earning three impressive victories over Moreno Valley Blue (15–3), Murrieta (8–5), and South Bay (10–0) to finish undefeated and carry that momentum into bracket play. In the quarterfinals, La Costa Blue continued their winning ways with a commanding 13–5 victory over French Valley Navy to earn a spot in the semifinals. Their tournament run came to an end with a hard-fought 14–10 battle against La Jolla Black, finishing among the Top 4 teams in the Pinto World Series. We couldn't be prouder of the way this team competed, supported one another, and represented LCYO throughout their All Star journey. Our 8U Blue All Star team went 3-0 in the 8U Machine Pitch World Series this past weekend! They play tonight at 5pm in the semi finals, after an awesome win last night in the quarter finals! First at 12pm and the 2nd at 2:45pm. All teams will take their team and individual player photos. We will have a Pony game going from 10am-12pm -- come watch our oldest division play! Home Run Derby will be going from 10am-11:30am. Snack bar run by our 12U Anderson Riptide team, who is raising money to go to Cooperstown, NY this summer! Also, a super fun Bouncy Obstacle Course open all day! So much to see and do!!
