Division II
6 Team Play-Off Rules
· Each team will play a minimum of 2 games.
· Pool positions will be decided by a blind draw.
· Top two teams from each pool will advance to the semi-finals.
· Tie Breakers will be as follows/in this order. Once a tie breaker is used it will not be returned to:
Head to Head
Run Differential
Runs Allowed
Runs Scored
Coin Toss
The run differential will be +/- 7. So, for example if the score of your game is 15 to 3, the maximum differential will be +7 for the winner, -7 for the loser. If the score of your game is 4 to 3, the run differential for the winner is +1, -1 for the loser.
· Make sure that each game is completed.
· Each team needs to e-mail game results to slavy1@earthlink.net . If there is a discrepancy…the home team’s score will take precedence (with discussion of course).
· A coin toss will determine home/visitor prior to the start of each game. The team that is listed first on the playoff sheet will take the first base side and will prep the field. The team listed second will take the third base side and put the bases away and lock the bins.
· For the Championship game, a coin toss one hour prior to the game will determine the dugout. At that time, the teams can decide to flip for home/visitor, or wait until game time with the umpire.
· Regular season rules will apply for the playoffs, semi-final and Championship games, with the exception of a 6 inning game for the Championship.
